On CompTIA’s AI-Era Skills panel
Aaron Ang joined CompTIA’s AI-Era Skills Development panel, “Putting AI to Work in Cybersecurity,” alongside CompTIA Chief Technology Evangelist Dr. James Stanger and advisor Paul Wan.
It made for a sharp, practical conversation that cut past the hype to the real questions of adopting AI securely: the risks agentic AI introduces, how to move fast without losing control, and the skills teams actually need today. A real privilege to share the virtual stage with a global name like CompTIA, and to represent CWG Innovations on the future of secure, workforce-ready AI.

Unified AI: Converging Frontier Capability, Security and Efficiency
Aaron examined how AI is reshaping the enterprise landscape, from the ever-expanding attack surface to the real cost of tokens and where enterprise AI adoption is heading next. Hear his argument in his own words:
In an interview with the Hong Kong Economic Times, Aaron argued that the security threats enterprises face when adopting AI are fundamentally different from traditional cybersecurity:
The barrier to attack has collapsed. Attackers no longer need deep technical knowledge. Anyone who understands how AI works can exploit it, often just by using language or psychology to persuade a model.
AI agents open a new attack surface. As companies deploy agents to read documents, organise data and handle email, attackers can embed hidden instructions that only the AI can read. “There’s no need to break through a firewall. The AI will follow the instructions and execute whatever they want.”
Guardrails don’t hold for long. Model guardrails are broken quickly, and new vulnerabilities emerge faster than in conventional cybersecurity, which makes dedicated AI security essential.
The answer: Unified AI governance
Aaron’s view is that the future of AI governance lies in consolidating the enterprise “AI stack” into a single management platform, Unified AI, much as cloud computing once unified fragmented infrastructure. That gives organisations full visibility into which models and agents their people use, and whether they are used safely, systematising today’s ungoverned “AI sprawl” before it compounds risk across the business.
